Finally, one of the frogs took heed to what the other frogs were saying and gave up. He fell down and died. The other frog continued to jump as hard as he could. Once again, the crowd of frogs yelled at him to stop the pain and just die. He jumped even harder and finally made it out. When he got out, the other frogs said, "Did you not hear us?" • The major way in which the two frogs were different from each other is:

    • The first frog lacked self belief, while the second one had both self belief and hope.

Based on the given question, we can see that there is the narration about the two frogs who were stuck in a ditch and tried to escape the ditch but they were told by other frogs that they should stop as they were good as dead.

With this, after a while, the first frog stopped trying and fell and died, but the second one continued trying to escape and eventually got his freedom.

What this show us is that we should have self belief and hope in the face of uncertain times just like the second frog.
