Because sometimes they are not appropriate for kids but sometime we don't understand what the adds are about for example: Comic's that shows up on adds with adult doing adult stuff.

I feel commercials aren't informative and why parents' concerns are valid. Advertisements, in my opinion, solely focus on viewers' emotions in order to persuade them to buy things rather than providing impartial critiques. They can also start a habit of using those marketed things, making youngsters feel useless if they don't have them.
